The New York City Police Department (NYPD) is known around the world for its history of violence and brutality, particularly against underserved communities of color. So it is little wonder that the Twitter hashtag #myNYPD, presumably created by the NYPD to show positive images of its officers, did not go precisely as they planned it.

 John Boehner is facing a Tea Party primary opponent named J.D. Winteregg who recently released a new campaign ad. Here is part of what he says in the ad:

“Other signs of Electile Dysfunction may include extreme skin discoloration, the inability to punch oneself out of a wet paper bag, or maintain a spin in the face of liberal opposition,” the narrator says. “If you have a Boehner lasting longer than 23 years, seek immediate medical attention.”

  I have to admit that I did get a chuckle out of this but seriously does he think this is a winning strategy in an election as important as the one we are facing in November? Does he really think releasing something like this is going to help him gain the support in a general election, or even in the primary for that matter? Does he not take this election seriously?
