Mid Wales: Quiet Power in the Hills

Mid Wales holds deep, old wisdom. Machynlleth is a beacon of alternative thinking, with the Centre for Alternative Technology symbolizing a different way forward. In nearby Llanidloes and Llandrindod Wells, you’ll find small pockets of off-gridders, land-workers, and homeschoolers quietly building the new.

The Beautiful North: Seeds of Change

Up in Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, the counterculture thrives openly—artists, healers, free thinkers gather here. Further down, Totnes (Devon) might be a bit gentrified now, but its roots in the Transition Towns movement still pulse beneath the surface.

Scotland: Wild Land, Free Spirits

Scotland offers both space and spirit. At Findhorn Ecovillage, intentional community is a living, breathing reality. In Argyll and Bute, Lochaber, and the Isle of Mull, seekers are returning to the land and building sovereign lives.

In terms of places across the British Isles that resonate with awake, conscious, community-driven energy, here are some leads and thoughts you might want to scout out this summer:

1. Mid Wales

Machynlleth has long had a reputation as a hub for alternative lifestyles, eco-consciousness, and off-grid communities. The Centre for Alternative Technology is nearby, and the area has an open-minded, earthy vibe. Around Llanidloes and Llandrindod Wells, you’ll find small but strong networks of homeschoolers, land workers, and freedom-focused folk.

2. The North (England)

Hebden Bridge in West Yorkshire has a strong countercultural streak, known for its creativity, alternative schooling, and community spirit. 6. Isle of Man

It’s under the radar but has attracted people looking for privacy and alternative ways of living. There’s a quiet but solid expat and sovereign-living crowd—though more scattered than organized.

Understanding addiction

Did you know that addiction is classified in the DSM-5? It’s a mental illness that lives in the brain stem: the same brain stem that serves a critical role in regulating certain involuntary actions of the body, including heartbeat and breathing. Addicts feel that they need their drug of choice (DOC) the same way they feel they need to breathe.

Did you know that our society treats addiction as a moral issue and pawns it off on law enforcement to “control”? The average stay in jail being 365 days or less. Where addicts are left to detox alone ?

Did you know the detox process can be violent and result in death if not monitored by medical professionals?

Did you know the addict is many times released, and at that time, their serotonin levels are at their lowest, leading to a high crime rate and a higher chance in relapse. It’s a pun to say that this is criminal but that’s exactly what this really is ….criminal.

It takes an average of 14-16 months of sobriety for an addict’s brain to balance serotonin levels to that of a neuro-typical brain. Did you know that?

Did you know that most insurances will only pay for 30 days of treatment for an addict? Please get mad about that. I’m begging you …get mad about that.

Did you know that 136 people die everyday from opioid overdose? That’s one person every 10.58 minutes. By the time you’re done reading and processing this post, someone will have died from an opioid overdose.
Someone’s child.
Someone’s spouse.
Someone’s parent.
Someone’s brother/sister.
Someone’s friend.
Someone’s aunt/uncle.

Let that sink in.

Did you know that the two biggest factors that “make” an addict are
(1) Genetic Predisposition and (2) Childhood trauma. There’s not that “one hit” or that “one decision” that will make an addict. You never really know who is or is not an addict before they ever even pick up. It’s NOT a moral problem. I repeat, addiction is NOT A MORAL PROBLEM.

Just for a minute let’s take this in a little bit of a different direction. Did you know that the BRCA gene for breast cancer has a 5-10% genetic predisposition rate? People every day undergo testing and life changing surgeries to avoid it but addiction genetic predisposition is over 50%.
O V E R 5 0 %. Let that sink in.
You still think addiction is a moral problem? A parenting problem?
Too bad there isn’t a surgery to remove addiction huh ?

If there’s one thing an addict would say….it’s that they’re still in there. (I know because I’ve asked.) The person that you knew and loved is still in there.

They are not their disease.

THEY ARE NOT THEIR DISEASE.

Addiction is a disease. Much like diabetes. It has to be monitored everyday. For the rest of their lives. And it’s HARD. It takes support and unrelenting diligence. Like cancer in that it can always reoccur.

The blaming needs to stop. We need to do better.
The paradigm needs to change.
Insurance benefits needs to change.
Public awareness needs to change.

Period.

The next time you hear someone say “ they have a choice “ or you hear others refer to addicts as “ a junkie“ start by educating them because that really is how this works.

You can make a difference you can change things. It starts with educating yourself and then spreading that knowledge one person at a time. Please I beg you join me in this.

Recently I saw this photo posted on facebook by a fellow Truther and the first thing I thought was that’s just an another one of those Jay-Z and Beyonce  fans doing the sign of the illuminati without any knowledge about what it means just because their idol does it.  So I decided to make a smart ass comment!   Daniel J Leach No more illuminati hand signs please! Just be your self and get out of the death cult!  You can do better than being used by The Queen Is A Reptilian and the Demonic forces that control Hollywood.

But what I discovered is a game changer.  It turn out that   Hassina Aube was not trying to imitate the celebrities but wanted show that she see’s taken the Red pill and has come out of the Matrix of the illuminati and see’s through the deception of the New World Order.

So we have decided to take up a cause for the Truth movement and thats to the creation of new symbolism  to make a signs of our own visual artworks that will be a means to remind those who are awake and part of the Anti Illuminati Party truth movement of not only the different oaths or covenants they made during their awakening or rebirth but to the commitment they have made to humanity!  This cause is to make signs of  Truth, Love and the RevoLution!   The First sign is made with the symbol of a heart with your hands and the eyes looking through the heart as a sign that we look with eyes of Love for humanity!

Many religions have used the image of an eye in their religious symbolism. One of the earliest known examples (from Egyptian mythology) is the Eye of Horus. However, the association of an eye with the concept of Divine Providence did not emerge until the Christian era.

Christian artworks were a visual means to remind the saints of not only the different stories in the Bible but the oath or covenants they made during their sacred rites. The reoccurring handclasps as well as arm gestures were scattered throughout historical Christian art. Many of the handclasps in historical Christian art show Christ or angels pulling others up and lifting them to higher realms. We also learn about handclasps from the Church Fathers as well as from extra-biblical ancient texts, many of them found in the last hundred years. (The Ante-Nicene Fathers, vol. 1, pp.144-45, The Epistle of Barnabas, chapters 11, & 12; The Ante-Nicene Fathers, 3: pp.157-8;Isaiah 5:1-3, Isaiah 42:6-7, mentions a “rites passage” hand grip that is part of a covenant).

Hassina Aube I never did it before and I didn’t do it after that XD. I honestly cant stand the sign either but I did this picture for different reasons. I wanna show that I see through the pyramid, that I am aware of them but that I don’t follow them but look with both eyes at them.

Today, the Eye of Providence is usually associated with Freemasonry. Popular among conspiracy theorists is the claim that the Eye of Providence shown atop an unfinished pyramid on the Great Seal of the United States indicates the influence of Freemasonry in the founding of the United States. This was dramatized in the 2004 Disney film National Treasure. However, common Masonic use of the Eye dates to 14 years after the creation of the Great Seal. Furthermore, among the members of the various design committees for the Great Seal, only Benjamin Franklin was a Mason (and his ideas for the seal were not adopted). Indeed, many Masonic organizations have explicitly denied any connection to the creation of the Seal.[7][8]

Illuminati

The Order of the Illuminati was an Enlightenment-age secret society founded by university professor Adam Weishaupt on 1 May 1776, in Upper Bavaria, Germany. The movement consisted of advocates of freethought, secularism, liberalism, republicanism and gender equality, recruited in the German Masonic Lodges, who sought to teach rationalism through mystery schools. In 1785, the order was infiltrated, broken up and suppressed by the government agents of Charles Theodore, Elector of Bavaria, in his preemptive campaign to neutralize the threat of secret societies ever becoming hotbeds of conspiracies to overthrow the Bavarian monarchy and its state religion, Roman Catholicism.[38]

In the late 18th century, reactionary conspiracy theorists, such as Scottish physicist John Robison and French Jesuit priest Augustin Barruel, began speculating that the Illuminati survived their suppression and became the masterminds behind the French Revolution and the Reign of Terror. The Illuminati were accused of being subversives who were attempting to secretly orchestrate a revolutionary wavein Europe and the rest of the world in order to spread the most radical ideas and movements of the Enlightenment—anti-clericalism,anti-monarchism, and anti-patriarchalism—and create a world noocracy and cult of reason. During the 19th century, fear of an Illuminati conspiracy was a real concern of European ruling classes, and their oppressive reactions to this unfounded fear provoked in 1848 the very revolutions they sought to prevent.[39]

During the interwar period of the 20th century, fascist propagandists, such as British revisionist historian Nesta Helen Webster and American socialite Edith Starr Miller, not only popularized the myth of an Illuminati conspiracy but claimed that it was a subversive secret society which serves the Jewish elites that supposedly propped up both finance capitalism and Soviet communism in order todivide and rule the world. American evangelist Gerald Burton Winrod and other conspiracy theorists within the fundamentalist Christianmovement in the United States — which emerged in the 1910s as a backlash against the principles of Enlightenment secular humanism, modernism, and liberalism — became the main channel of dissemination of Illuminati conspiracy theories in the U.S. Right-wing populists, such as members of the John Birch Society, subsequently began speculating that some collegiate fraternities (Skull and Bones), gentlemen’s clubs (Bohemian Club) and think tanks (Council on Foreign Relations, Trilateral Commission) of the American upper class are front organizations of the Illuminati, which they accuse of plotting to create a New World Order through a one-world government.[6]

The Singer/Songwriter of “Dear Mama” (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mb1ZvUDvLDY), while in the critical care unit, on the afternoon of Friday, September 13, 1996, died of internal bleeding; doctors attempted to revive him but could not stop the hemorrhaging. His mother, Afeni, made the decision to tell the doctors to stop. He was pronounced dead at 4:03 pm (PDT). The official cause of death was noted as respiratory failure and cardiopulmonary arrest in connection with multiple gunshot wounds. Shakur’s body was cremated the next day and some of his ashes were later mixed with marijuana and smoked by members of the Outlawz. His fifth album, The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory was released two months later.
