Attacking Yemen is a violation of The U.S. ConstitutionWar Powers Resolution

29 dead in a little over a week. Nearly 200 gone this year. The White House is stepping up its campaign of drone attacks in Yemen, with four strikes in eight days. And not even the slaying of 10 civilians over the weekend seems to have slowed the pace in the United States’ secretive, undeclared war.

NBC News

Chick-fil-A has agreed to stop funding groups with anti-same-sex marriage stances, according to a statement released Wednesday by LGBT advocacy group The Civil Rights Agenda.

Chicago Alderman Joe Moreno, who had blocked the fast-food chain from opening stores in Chicago because of its anti-gay views, likewise announced he would now let Chick-fil-A open up new outlets after he received a letter this morning from the company stating that they would cease donating to the groups.

“Going forward, our intent is to leave the policy debate over same-sex marriage to the government and political arena,” Chick-fil-A wrote in an emailed statement to NBC News. Civil Rights Agenda (CRA) and Moreno’s office did not respond to emailed requests.

THE JEENYUS CORNER

I would like to share with you all a letter I received today from the SCGOP.
As you can see, it was titled; “The only thing mising is you…”

With the shenanigans that the RNC pulled down in Tampa, only to see an equally disgusting display by the Dems in Charlotte, NC, it has become clear that both parties stand for the same thing…

Being a TOP DOWN, authoritarian country club for the elite class of their respective gangs!

Please read the letter from the SCGOP below. Let me know what you think in the comments section.

We need your help!

Dear South Carolina Republican,

We have phones waiting to be dialed, doors longing to be knocked, and football fans axiously awaiting Romney-Ryan lapel stickers on their gameday shirts…the only thing missing is YOU!

Orrin Hatch: Sebelius’ pro-Obama speech an ‘egregious violation’ of federal law | THE JEENYUS CORNER

DailyCaller.com

Utah Republican Sen. Orrin Hatch told The Daily Caller that a speech made by Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius in her official capacity as a cabinet member to support President Obama’s re-election was an “egregious violation” of federal law that Obama needs to “make right.”

“Well, can you imagine if it was a Republican head of HHS what would be happening to the person? All I can say is I don’t wish her any harm nor do I want to get involved in that, that’s strictly a matter for the president to decide but it was not a good thing, I’ll put it that way,” Hatch, the ranking member of the Senate Finance Committee, told TheDC after speaking at the Heritage Foundation on Wednesday.

A report issued by the U.S. Office of Special Council found that Sebelius violated the Hatch Act by calling for Obama’s re-election…

Presidents don’t run the economy | THE JEENYUS CORNER

Theo Caldwell
Daily Caller

So often when he addresses crowds, Bill Clinton officiates at a marriage of mendacity and excitable ignorance. This was plainly the case in his acclaimed address to the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte. The speech was very well received, and my suspicion is that President Obama’s post-convention poll bounce was primarily attributable to Clinton’s performance.

“No president, not me or any of my predecessors, could have repaired all the damage in just four years,” Clinton claimed, absolving Obama of blame for America’s economic misery since he took office. This is a recitation of the Democratic plaint that Obama “inherited” a mess (notwithstanding Obama’s tripling of an already-massive budget deficit), and it perpetuates the leftist fantasy that the president runs the economy.

Clinton’s image of the president as a repairman, who really needs to get in there with hammer and tongs, maybe holding some nails…

Who Picks Judges in South Carolina? | THE JEENYUS CORNER

ANOTHER EXAMPLE OF SOUTH CAROLINA’S LEGISLATIVE HEGEMONY

scpolicycouncil.org

South Carolina’s governmental structure is unusual in many, many ways – and not “unusual” in the good sense. Nowhere is this clearer than in the matter of nominating and choosing judges. In South Carolina, judges are unilaterally chosen by the legislature. The governor has nothing to do with it, with the result that the legislative branch has no check on its power over the judicial branch.

And it’s not just the legislative branch that has the control. More particularly, it’s three lawmakers: the Speaker of the House, the chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, and the President Pro Tempore of the Senate. These three appoint all ten members of the Judicial Merit Selection Commission, the body that nominates judges for ultimate legislative approval. By law, six of the 10 must be lawmakers: the House Speaker appoints five, the President Pro Tempore…

CIA sued over drone killings | THE JEENYUS CORNER

Jeenyus Corner's avatarThe Jeenyus Corner

RT.com

The American Civil Liberties Union is taking the CIA to court for the agency’s refusal to comply with a FOIA request to hand over documents about the Obama administration’s “targeted killing” drone program.

The CIA claims its drone program is “secret,” even though President Obama, Defense Secretary Leon Panetta and senior government officials have publicly spoken about the program. In May, the New York Times found that President Obama personally oversees a drone “kill list,” using the weapon to target and kill terrorists abroad and often cause fatalities to bystanders near the target. But the CIA considers all military-age males killed in a strike zone to be “combatants,” the Times found.

The ACLU filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request in January 2010 asking the government to disclose “its use of predator drones to conduct ‘targeted killings’ overseas,” but the CIA refused to confirm or deny any…

I am honored Daniel. This makes me very happy. I hope the drawing can serve as a comprehensive medium to appeal to new potential members, and to raise awareness to not only the problems we face today, but to also raise awareness to where these realities derived from, to have faces and names to put to the “conspiracies” we are up against. But just as Grover Cleveland says in the drawing, “It is a condition which confronts us, not a theory”. The deeper one looks into this drawing the more they will learn and find. Everything on the page has a meaning, reason and is specifically positioned…Now let’s win this battle!!!
